We are often asked how a new product is actually created and whether you can mix it in the kitchen according to your own recipe.
The answer is: no. Fortunately! Just imagine if Hinz and Kunz could mix and sell cosmetics wildly in their own kitchen! If that were really allowed, most of us would probably be walking around with a rash on our face. The risk of something going wrong is simply too great, as there are many specifications that must be observed when it comes to cosmetics, such as pH value, compatibility, hygiene regulations and so on and so forth. This task is better left to the specialist. This is the only way you can be sure that you end up with a product that is high quality and well tolerated.
So if you really want to get serious about the cosmetics business, you should work with a real cosmetics manufacturer or an established laboratory to develop your products.
But don't worry: there are plenty of other things to do ;)
