Hautpflege im Sommer

Summer skin care

Summer, sun, sunshine - for many of us, summer is one of the most beautiful seasons of the year. Our skin is also happy about the airier clothing, but on the other hand, it is heavily stressed by the increased sunlight and the high temperatures and now requires different care than in spring. For this reason, it is advisable to adapt not only your clothing but also your skin care to the warmer season.

Sun protection, sun protection, sun protection

In the summer, intensive sun protection is an absolute must - sorry, guys, but absolutely nothing works without SPF! Of course, this also applies to facial care. Use a day cream with integrated sun protection factor, use sunscreen with an SPF that suits your skin type, cover sensitive parts of the body with clothing, and avoid the blazing midday sun. Too much sun on unprotected skin promotes skin aging and the formation of hyperpigmentation and, in the worst case, can even lead to sunburn or skin cancer.

Moisture beats fat

While in the colder months we should pay more attention to supplying the skin with oil, in the summer we should avoid greasy creams and rely more on care products that primarily moisturize the skin. Creams that are too rich are more likely to be unpleasant in warm temperatures. The skin tends to produce more sebum in summer, which is why the face generally quickly becomes oily and starts to shine when it is hot. It is therefore advisable to have both summer and winter skin care equipment in the bathroom.

Clean thoroughly

Note: Sun protection is an absolute must-have during the day, but it has no place on the skin at night! So please always clean your face and décolleté thoroughly every evening. This not only removes excess sunscreen, but also dirt, make-up and sebum that has accumulated on the skin during the day.

I got a feeling, it's time for a peeling

Regular peelings remove dead skin cells, ensure smooth, radiant skin and help you tan evenly. In addition, they promote your blood circulation and give you an irresistible glow.
